I spent Labor Day not laboring, and as a result this issue of NZN doesn’t contain an elaborately crafted essay—or even a crudely crafted essay. However, it does contain an experiment with a new kind of Nonzero content!
At the links below you’ll find a few pieces from the Nonzero archives presented in audio form. They’re read by NZN’s own Andrew Day, who has a more sonorous voice than me (which—not to burst his bubble—is something he has in common with billions of other human beings).
Our plan is to make such audios a regular feature that would be available to paid subscribers of the newsletter—but we’re making the first two audios above available to all subscribers. (Paid subscribers have the option of accessing these four audios via the paid subscribers’ feed on their podcast app. If you haven’t set that feed up yet, just click on one of the preceding titles and then click the “Listen on” button on the right side of the player.)
Let us know what you think, either in the comments section below or by emailing us at nonzero.news@gmail.com.
Thanks!
Bob
Love this!
I prefer to read it; for one thing it's faster and if the newsletter is - especially - interesting (of course, they all are interesting) then I can easily save it into a folder.
