Sorry to clutter your inbox with a plea for assistance, but I think this is a worthy cause: I’m looking for somebody to help me with this newsletter and related endeavors, especially podcasts. I thought maybe you’d know somebody who could be right for the job (or that you might be somebody who could be right for the job).
The job description is below, and I encourage you to forward it to anyone you think might be interested. If you want to spread the word via social media, here’s the link to the online version of the job description: https://nonzero.org/post/job
Thanks, and sorry again for the intrusion.

The Nonzero Foundation is looking for an early-career digital journalist to do: research; writing; and various tasks related to the production, editing, and promotion of audio/video podcasts. The job would involve working closely with author Robert Wright, who publishes the Nonzero Newsletter (circulation 21,000), runs the bloggingheads.tv and meaningoflife.tv video and podcast platforms, and hosts The Wright Show. The job can involve anywhere from 20 to 40 hours of work per week and starts at $18 per hour, with a raise possible after a three-month performance review. An ideal candidate will have (1) strong writing skills and a strong interest in creatively editing and promoting video clips from podcast conversations; (2) a strong interest in subject areas covered in the newsletter, notably including those that are part of the newsletter’s “Apocalypse Aversion Project,” which range from the cognitive biases that constitute the “psychology of tribalism” to various technology-related threats to the planet; (3) an entrepreneurial spirit, in the sense of wanting to help turn a small operation into a bigger one that can have an increasingly large impact on the world.
To apply, email us at jobnonzero@gmail.com. Explain why you want the job and what makes you well suited to it. Please include a resume.
Will ask around! The digital/video skill set might be hard to pair with the writing, but I'm sure the right person will be amazing.
Will do. Tomorrow. I feel you
