There are no US troops in Ukraine. How is it, Bob, a US quagmire?

Bob spitting facts on this one. I've become disheartened by the extreme vitrol and opposition that certain left liberals start hurling at you for advocating a ceasefire to this conflict. I think Biden has become politically constrained himself as this issue has become too big to fail for him and he has a vast pro ukraine army of internet trolls. I think the far right in Ukraine also constrains any sort of peace negotiations from Ukraine's side. While the far right is very prevalent in Russia too I don't think they hold the same outsized influence that Ukraine's far right does over their own domestic politics and military. After Prigozhen's insurrection Putin is very much in charge of their military command structure. I don't think you can say the same about Zelensky. It will ultimately come down to whether or not Putin wants to end the war from the Russian side whereas there are a lot more moving parts for Ukraine and the US. The shell situation is one of them. The west was extremely slow to ramp up shell production and there have been reports that we are scrapping the bottom of the barrel. The US has likely sent Ukraine 2 million artillery shells whereas we probably only had around 4-6 million in stockpiles before the war. That is to say that we likely have already exhausted the stockpile that we were willing and able to send to Ukraine (we have certain laws that requires that the US maintain certain levels of war readiness so I'm not sure if we can even send them additional shells legally). South Korea also has significant constraints on what ammunition they can sell externally.
