Twitter is really ruining it's reputation, I live in rural America and very few people I know use Twitter, it's still all Facebook and links to Twitter from Facebook. That's obviously only my experience but if Elon is catering right wing users it's going to disappoint him.
The public square notion of Twitter is dead. Look at the metrics for gen z zoomer use of Twitter is awful, that should tell you a lot of the long term health of the platform. Twitter is a big echo chamber and Elon is making it worse. The dead linking of substack is super short sighted.
